Between March 10 和 March 21, we are installing a new version of 微软团队 on all ODU-managed computers. The new Teams interface looks nearly identical, with some minor feature changes 和 subtle improvements.

微软团队 is a collaboration platform that combines persistent chat, 文件的协作, 即时消息, 和 meetings in a single platform. Teams is part of ODU's Office 365 和 is available to all faculty, staff, 和 students.

You can access 微软团队 through the desktop client on your University-managed computer, using a mobile app (iOS安卓), or on the web at http://团队s.微软.com.


特性

You can start a chat with an individual or a group, turn your chat into a voice or video call, even share your screen 和 meet. 闲谈,聊天 history is retained for one year.

 

调用

Make, receive, forward 和 transfer calls on your university workstation or mobile device. You can make 和 receive calls using a 团队s phone number (this requires a 电信工单 激活).

 

团队协作

A 团队 is a group of people gathered to get something big done in your organization. 微软团队 is a place for 团队s to work together, share files 和 organize your work.

Teams are made up of 渠道, which are the conversations you have with your 团队mates. Each channel is dedicated to a specific topic, department or project.

Certain 团队 names (like "人力资源") have been reserved for official use. If you try to create a 团队 和 receive a message that "the name can't contain...,“提交 这种形式 to request your 团队.

 

Course Collaboration

Instructors can use the Course Collaboration Tool to set up 类的团队 对于他们的课程. Class 团队s are automatically configured 和 shared with the students registered for that course.

From the Course Collaboration Tool

When faculty use ODU's Course Collaboration Tool to set up Zoom meetings, 微软团队 or shared Google Drives 对于他们的课程, students enrolled in those courses can access the collaboration tools from within the myODU portal or from within the course in Blackboard.
